Heya. 3/3 fini. Dagger, log pose, and Smiley Frowns all finished. Fire fruit not included. The last two pics washed out some, but you get the idea. Now I actually have a gap. Have to play Tom Waits' 'What's he building in there?' and see how far I can get before someone tackles me with another dream. That's okay. I can take it. Thanks to A for your cooperation on this project. Be good to you. I'm out!

Shopblog/OP Dagger

Heya. The One Piece Dagger, one of three props for a Portgas D. Ace cosplay.
From carving,

to building the rails around the sheath,

to the first prime. There are still details to be added- the rings around the inside handle, a belt loop, brass fittings and then paint and clear.

One Piece Log Pose/Of 3

One Piece/Of 3

Heya. Here's my log pose for One Piece. One of three, with Dagger & Smiley Frowns in the fryer. Smiley Frowns cook faster so they're crunchy outside, tender inside.

The dagger will be next challenge for this project. The log pose was frustrating in the near final stages. I ended up watching utube vids on how they make ships in bottles. Not a bad way to get a feel for the tools, methods, and challenges ahead of time. I love the glass globe- hunted for weeks to find the right one. Thanks for all the email on the revamping. Input is always welcome.

Smiley Frowns should be about done.
